Terrance, who grew up in Foote Homes and LeMoyne Gardens, graduated from Central High School (1998). He attended the University of Memphis and graduated in 2008 with a degree in African American Literature and a minor in Japanese. Terrance first learned about Streets when he was introduced to Ken Bennett by his 7th grade Pre-Algebra teacher, Mr. Benton, back in 1992; he was later hired in 2008 as a Mission Graduation Advisor in order to “share the gospel to the neighborhood”. Terrance teaches martial arts and for fun, he enjoys cooking, attempting to sing karaoke, and reading just about anything. He is married to Jill Young, and they are members of Downtown Presbyterian Church.
